About Me

I’m Denver Rurrk (he/they), a queer artist currently living on Kaurna Yerta (Adelaide). My work is heavily inspired by nature, as I love the natural world. While I'm technically a Zoologist, I've never been employed as one, so creating animal-related art helps me stay connected to my passions. You'll also find plenty of 'gay cowboi' themes in my work, reflecting my personal interests like line dancing.

I manage to cover the current exorbitant cost of living primarily by teaching at an alternative school. Any extra income from this site allows me more time to create art and achieve a better work-life balance—or sometimes just funds a dairy-free bubble tea to get me through another day in this late-stage capitalist hellscape.
